We are Alio.

While the GraftWorx name served us well in the early days of our organization we felt as though a new name for the company was warranted to signify how we have progressed and what our vision for the future looks like.

Alio means elsewhere in Latin. Samit and I founded the company with the realization medicine was not where it needed to be, and committed ourselves to taking it to where we believed it should go. Fundamentally, we could solve the sampling error problem in medicine through sensors and software and move medicine forward.

You will notice the o in our new logo is segmented into four parts, these reflect the 4 P’s which are central to wearable monitoring technology – Predictive, Preventative, Personalized and Participatory. Our hardware was designed with the patient and clinician in mind to ensure high compliance. Our software has been honed to provide predictive insights to physicians and prevent bad outcomes.

However, as our work evolved, we realized there are many industries where we can have a significant impact. Whether you are looking to reach high-caliber athletic performance on the ice rink or maintain stability in the toughest conditions the Air Force has to offer, we can provide insights helping you reach those goals. To that end, we have pursued a number of strategic partnerships with organizations like the U.S. Air Force and the NHL’s San Jose Sharks to see just how far our technology can go.

Despite these new explorations, we have not lost sight of our primary audience, and the first challenge we set out to tackle as a team, healthcare. The four segments in the o of our logo also represent Patient, Physician, Provider and Payer. At Alio, we incessantly work to make sure any development we are planning for the market creates a positive change for the patient, physician, provider and payer. If their interests are not aligned, it is unlikely we will ensure patient compliance, consistent physician interaction, provider adoption and payer remuneration.

With several clinical studies on the horizon and an expanding range of industry applications, we look forward to keeping you apprised of our progress throughout this journey.
